A few new images from director Tarsem Singh’s take on Snow White Mirror Mirror, have gone online. The film still looks really, really bad and unendingly silly, as we see Nathan Lane wearing some sort of antennae hat in this batch of photos. I’m not exactly sure what Singh was going for, but the movie just looks beyond ridiculous. Those worried about the fact that we have two Snow White movies coming out this year can rest easy; Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman couldn’t be more different.

Hit the jump to check out the new images. Mirror Mirror opens on March 30th.

Here’s the synopsis for Mirror Mirror:

In Relativity’s Mirror Mirror starring Oscar®-winner Julia Roberts and breakout star Lily Collins (The Blind Side), an evil Queen (Roberts) steals control of a kingdom, and an exiled princess (Collins) enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright in a spirited adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over.  The film also stars Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane (The Birdcage) as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.

  1. It’s a kids/family movie. What do you expect? I’m surprised the community bases the opinon about Mirror Mirror using the criteria for the other adaptation. Different movies, different criteria.

That being said the movie will probably have no script but will look great.

  2. The costumes, effects and scenery seem wonderful and from the clips I have seen it works for children and, on another level, for adults (much like a lot of the Disney films). Decide for yourself when the movie opens on 3/30 but it looks like a lot of fun to me.
