A new trailer for the fifth entry in the Mission: Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation has Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt keeping his friends close and his enemies even closer (that is, if IMF can tell who the enemies really are ...). Co-written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher), the sequel finds Tom Cruise and his IMF pals attempting to take down “The Syndicate,” a worldwide criminal organization described as the “anti-IMF.”

The new trailer gives a clearer picture of that overall story, with the main question seeming to be "who can be trusted?" But as always, the trailer also shows a film that is star-studded and full of heart-pounding action (but one that is not without humor, thanks mostly to Simon Pegg).

You can watch the new trailer below. The film opens in IMAX and traditional theaters on July 31st, and also stars Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner, Sean Harris,Simon McBurney, and Alec Baldwin.  For more on Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, click here.
