One of Disney’s most anticipated upcoming releases, Moana, finally has an official poster, and soon a trailer shall follow! Though the animated movie’s South Pacific aesthetics seem to perfectly capture beautiful, sunny summer goodness, we won’t get to inhabit that world officially until late November. Sigh. (Though it will be a nice reprieve from winter doldrums). However, today, Dwayne Johnson (who we all affectionally know as The Rock, of course) released the first look at the poster on Twitter, and also teased that the trailer will debut — via him, naturally — this coming Sunday.

Moana tells the story of a brave teenage girl from 2,000 years ago (voiced by 14-year-old Native Hawaiian, Auli’i Cravalho) who sets out on a voyage to prove that she is as capable as the explorers of old, who sailed around the islands of Oceania as master navigators and seafarers. The Rock will be voicing the demigod Maui, who joins Moana on her quest out into the open ocean, where she will surely meet a host of obstacles to overcome. Check out the new poster below:

The movie is being directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, and also features Alan Tudyk among its voice cast. For more on the movie, which is slated for release on November 23rd, be sure to check out everything we learned about it from last year’s D23 conference.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis for Moana:

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast South Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one today knows why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”), and produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.
