Today, we’re pleased to bring you an exclusive clip from the upcoming thriller Mojave. Written and directed by William Monahan, the Oscar-winning screenwriter behind The Departed, the film is a cat-and-mouse game between a violent artist, Thomas (Garrett Hedlund) who has an encounter in the desert with Jack (Oscar Isaac), a homicidal drifter, who holds a dark secret over Thomas’ head.

In this clip, you can see that Jack has come to call on Thomas, and I like the look of the film. It definitely seems like Monahan has captured the classical style he’s going for, and I hope it all comes together.

Check out the exclusive Mojave clip below along with images and the poster. The film is currently on DirecTV and opens in theaters this month; it co-stars Walton Goggins and Louise Bourgoin.
