We’ve got a bit of release date news to attend to:
- Monster Trucks –Paramount will release the original live-action/CG hybrid film on May 29, 2015, a few weeks after The Avengers 2. Chris Wedge (Ice Age) directs from a script by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger (Kung Fu Panda).
- Spongebob Squarepants 2 – The feature film sequel adaptation of the popular animated TV series will open in theaters on February 13, 2015.
- The Judge – Warner Bros. will release director David Dobkin’s (Wedding Crashers) dramedy starring Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall on October 10, 2014, opposite the Seth Rogen/James Franco comedy The Interview and the childrens book adaptation Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
- Out of the Furnace – Director Scott Cooper’s (Crazy Heart) promising drama starring Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson will forego its limited release on November 27th and will instead just open wide on December 6th.
The fourth wall remains intact for this one.
