If you could humor me for just a moment --- please put a check mark next to the items on the following list to which you feel positively:

  • Joseph Gordon-Levitt
  • Channing Tatum
  • flowery, arcane language (that's mostly gibberish)
  • sepia tone
  • fake mustaches

If you checked off three or more, then I have a treat for you: the SXSW short film Morgan and Destiny’s Eleventeeth Date: The Zeppelin Zoo.  Levitt directed and starred alongside G.I. Joe chum Channing Tatum and Lexy Hulme, one of the dancers in the (500) Days of Summer musical sequence.  So glue on some facial hair, grab your oldest and thickest thesaurus, and check out the short after the break.

Levitt posted the short to his site hitRECord --- where the goal is to foster artistic collaboration among the peoples of the internet --- with the following note:

Personettes and Peoplethings – I present to you the SXSW 2010 version of ‘Morgan and Destiny’s Eleventeeth Date – The Zeppelin Zoo’.

Our man Morgan and his lovebuddy Destiny, along with Mssr. Foodpenguin and that dastardly dip-stick Lionel premiered to two jam-packed houses in Austin. The screenings were met with the lovely love of excited SXSW humanians.

Thanks to everyone who collaborated on Morgan and all of our other RECords in Austin. Its a time I won’t soon forget!
