Warner Bros. Digital released the first trailer for season two of Kevin Tancharoen‘s web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy this weekend. Here’s the synopsis:
“The Mortal Kombat Legacy continues in Season 2 as Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kenshi, and Ermac join the ranks. The rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors will unfold as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld. The epic battle for Earthrealm has finally begun.”
The production values look good, so I can see why this is a hit with fans of the game. There is no set premiere date yet, but the painful wordplay at the end of the clip promises the ten episodes of season two are “Koming Soon.” Watch the trailer after the jump.

It’s not a “painful wordplay”… They frecuently use that kind of wordplay in the Mortal Kombat franchise.
I’ll watch it just for the nostalgic feeling i’ll get.
No one beats Bridgette Wilson’s SONYA BLADE though.

How in the name of the F*** is Shang Tsung the same actor of the First Movie?
Maybe he IS Shang Tsung and he just plays himself from time to time, in-between tournaments.
Painful Wordplay? Since the very first Arcade Game was released way back when, they have always, always used the letter K when appropriate in place of the letter C. That is just as insultingly stupid comment, and a prime example of why Matt Goldberg is constantly criticized for snarky remarks, because it would have been so much simpler to give the facts in a short and precise paragraph as opposed to putting on display your lack of credibility in talking about the subject at hand.
For long editorial type articles, snarky remarks are fine. If people want to read what you have to say then they can deal with your opinions and how you choose to word them. But for short articles, just simply state the facts.
