Good morning, world. As Jason cooks up an article covering the four amazing new posters for Black Swan, I decided to grab the posters for two of my most anticipated films in the next few months and one that just came to my attention. There is a lot of internet hate for The Green Hornet, but I stand in the camp that just wants to see how it is. I have reserved most of my judgment because I adore the director (Michel Gondry) and like that it is not an easy sell. The other film is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, which is the start of the two-part epic conclusion to the blockbuster film series. The poster we are displaying focuses on one of my personal favorite characters: Dobby. Meanwhile, we have a poster for the country music drama Country Strong that features Tim McGraw and Gwyneth Paltrow. So hit the jump to check out the posters.

As we can see in the new The Green Hornet poster, they are pulling back and showcasing the iconic car and emblem, while just using the silhouettes of Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) and Kato (Jay Chou). I think it’s a nice touch and is clearly trying to sell to the old school mentality. Check out the poster and synopsis below. The Green Hornet hits theaters in 3D on January 14th, 2011. Click on the poster for high resolution.

Here's the synopsis for The Green Hornet:

“Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the son of LA’s most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene – until his father (Tom Wilkinson) mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire.  Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father’s more industrious and inventive employees, Kato (Jay Chou), they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves – protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets.

Using all his ingenuity and skill, Kato builds the ultimate in advanced retro weaponry, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car equal parts firepower and horsepower.  Rolling in a mobile fortress on wheels and striking the bad guys with Kato’s clever gadgets, The Green Hornet and Kato quickly start making a name for themselves, and with the help of Britt’s new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), they begin hunting down the man who controls LA’s gritty underworld: Benjamin Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz).  But Chudnofsky has plans of his own:  to swat down The Green Hornet once and for all. The Green Hornet stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Christoph Waltz, Cameron Diaz, Edward James Olmos, David Harbour and Tom Wilkinson.”

Next, we have yet another poster for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (via SpoilerTV) . While it’s labeled as “Doppy” in the link, this isn’t one of the seven dwarves. This is definitely Dobby the house-elf, who plays a big role in the books but has nearly disappeared from the films. Judging by the fact that they have a character poster just for him, it’s a safe bet his role might get some of the glory back. Deathly Hallows - Part 1 hits theaters on November 19th, 2010. [UPDATE: Warner Bros. has informed us that this poster is fan-made]
