Ryan Brookhart has a Preview of the Hot Toys RESIDENT EVIL 4 Figures
Posted by
Hello all,

Ryan Brookhart here with an exciting announcement. Anyone who reads my column knows how much I admire Honk Kong based toy company Hot Toys. In the recent past they made my number one pick for best collectible figure… that being the ED 209 figure. And coming later this month the Power Loader! (from the seminal Science Fiction classic ALIENS) I'm almost certain that figure will win best 1/6 scale figure for 2007.

Well, the big announcement is this: Hot Toys is producing a series of Bio Hazard 4 figures (Resident Evil 4 for us in the States).

The fine folks from Hot Toys sent me some very nice images of the first assort of highly detailed figures to share with you. I couldn't help but create a couple Collider exclusive images for this article (the ones with the RE referential backgrounds).

  • The guy with the chain-saw is named Ganado Chainsaw.
  • The guy with the leather jacket is the hero of RE4, Leon S. Kennedy.
  • The police outfitted version is called Leon S. Kennedy, R.P.D. version.

There are two versions of Jack Krauser, the guy with the stylish red hat. The other version of Krauser sports a cool mutated arm.

Jack Krauser is a reoccurring character in the RE franchise and he plays a pivotal role the the last game. Once he mutates there's a rather cool boss battle with him. There are more pictures of these incredible figures coming soon. But for now, feast on these. And make sure to pre-order these figures right now at sideshowtoys as I promise they'll sell out fast.

And coming soon… a new McFarlane Toys article.
