Jeremy Piven (Entourage) confirmed today that he will return for Mr Selfridge Season 4 as the titular character. The news comes on the heels of Katherine Kelly’s announcement that she will also be back for the fourth season of the ITV program, playing the seductive Lady Mae Loxley. They will be joined by series regulars Tom Goodman-Hill, Samuel West, Amanda Abbington, and Sacha Parkinson, amongst others, and will include a major new character played by Sacha Dhawan.

The early 20th-century-set series details the working life and personal troubles of Harry Gordon Selfridge, the American-born founder of Selfridge & Co., one of the London’s most well known high-end department store chains. Doctor Who scribe Helen Raynor will be leading writing duties on the fourth season, working with James Payne, Ben Morris, Hamish Wright, and Matt Jones. Advisory duties will remain with Lindy Woodhead, who quite literally wrote the book on Mr. Selfridge and his store's unlikely success on Oxford Street’s then-horrid West end.

The decision to renew the surprisingly nimble series came from ITV’s Director of Drama Steve November and Controller of Drama Victoria Fea, who may have the best job title in the history of humankind. They’ll be working with long-time series producer Dominic Barlow, with Raynor and Kate Lewis executive producing. Shooting the new season will commence later this year, and the third season of the show is set to premiere on Masterpiece on PBS next Sunday, March 29th.
