New set photos have gone online for Jeff Nichols’ Mud and Danny Boyle’s Trance. Mud “centers on two boys who come upon a fugitive hiding out on an island in the Mississippi. Excited at the prospect of danger and adventure, they enter into a pact together to help the man escape and reunite him with his lost love.” I’m not sure how that plan involves Reese Witherspoon getting punched in the face twice, but these new set photos show at some point in the movie that’s going to happen. If you feel like trotting out the “Already told her twice,” joke, don’t. Also, it could just be runny make-up from crying. Ah, the magic of out-of-context set-photos.
The set photos from Trance show a beat-up James McAvoy and that is definitely not runny make-up. The movie focuses on the mastermind of an art heist (McAvoy) who must go under hypnosis when he gets amnesia and forgets the location of the loot. Hit the jump to check out the set photos.

She got run over by an old lady a few days ago. That’s where the bruises come from.
Yes, this sounds like a joke, but…true story:

That happened in early September. The black eyes are for the movie. She only had a small black eye and some bruises on her forehead from getting hit by that car.
Can’t wait to see Trance. James looks AMAZING!!! — even with a bloodied head. Can’t believe I have to wait over a year to see it!
Ah, well. James is worth the wait!!!
Another thing that an organizer must settle is the theme. It is very important for every activity to have a theme in order to drive interest. With a specific theme presented, participants will be able to prepare necessary photographs or graphics that they can submit as valid entries for the competition. This should also include the set of rules and regulations that participants should abide to become active members of the event.
