Natalie Portman has dropped out of the lead role of the adaptation of Seth Grahme-Smith’s parody-novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.  This news comes on the heels of the report that director David O. Russell had left the project to helm Old St. Louis instead.  EW reports that Portman will remain on board as a producer.

Portman also recently declined the starring role in Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity.  However, the talented actress has plenty of other films she can choose from including Cloud Atlas, Important Artifacts, Best Buds, and possibly The Brothers Grimm: Snow White.  Portman has been receiving heavy awards buzz for her performance in Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming film Black Swan, which opens December 1st.

Ill watch The Brothers Grimm: Snow White.

I like the Ledger/Damon Brothers Grim. Who would of thought Monica Bellucci could look unatractive yet still strangely shaggable!

    Black Swan looks interesting
