Though the fourth season order for NBC’s action comedy series Chuck was only for 13 episodes, EW reports the network has just picked up an additional 9 episodes for a full season order. Every season, the future of the series has been uncertain, but creator Josh Schwartz says, “NBC is really happy with it creatively. This is Chuck. We never say die.” Personally, while I find the series to still be entertaining, this season just doesn’t compare to last season. While having Chuck and Sarah get together seems like it may be the issue, the best parts of this season have resulted from their progress as a real couple. My problem with this season lies within too much stunt casting for guest stars and sloppy, last minute links at the end of every episode in an attempt to keep Chuck’s desire to find his mother moving forward. Hopefully, things pick up soon. Chuck airs Mondays at 8/7c on NBC. What do you think of this season of Chuck so far?

could be the most consistently awesome show of all-time. This is NBC best show, Office not with-standing, They need to put this on tuesday and up the ratings.

besides smallville, chuck is the most consistently entertaining tv show on tv, even “bad” episodes are better than most of the crap on TV, love to see this show go the distance

I didn’t mean to like that comment, I meant to reply.

You have no taste in TV if you think Smallville is consistently entertaining.

I think you summed it up perfectly as to why this season sucks. I don’t think I’ll care if it gets canceled at this point.

I’m a fan; ts entertaining and humorous, just what’s supposed to be. Hopefully the advertisers hit your target audiences and I get to continue to enjoy the show, as I only watch it online.

I think the season has found it’s footing & I look forward to the back nine. With so much uncertainty & so many subplots to service (with no budget) it needed a few weeks to reestablish itself. While the stunt casting was a bit overboard, I also think it was a smart ploy by Schwartz and Fedak because it got the show noticed early in the year. Now it can move foreward. I really liked this week’s episode, despite the implausible setup. And I like Chuck, Casey, and Morgan so much more this year — their stories were very moving.

I think people looking for couples who never get together for whole spans of a show are ridiculous. It becomes cliche redundant and insulting to the audience to have the unrequited thing just drag on forever. I don’t think the Chuck/Sarah angle was the whole show. I do think Sarah should sexy it up as much as possible and it’s great that chuck is never quite used to it. Chuck and Morgan to me was the driving bring you back for more force of the show. And there is nothing wrong with seeing big names stream through Chuck. To complain about that is reaching.

I thought it would have been super cool if awesome and Ellie both downloaded the intersect and had an intersect baby…that would be cool….or they have already downloaded it before chuck gets it back and didn’t know they had it until threatened…anyone want to hire me for creativity…send me an e-mail at smoore@post.com
