As Doctor Strange clearly once said, "We're in the Avengers: Endgame now" (or you know, close enough). The movie is Part 2 of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw Thanos victorious in his really specific quest to quell overpopulation in the universe, even if it's not really a problem in a lot of places. Unfortunately, it led to the dusty demise of some of our favorite new Marvel heroes, leaving the old guard -- including Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and Hulk -- left to, well, avenge them.

Marvel has now released a new piece of this mysterious and sure-to-be-epic final crescendo with a new TV spot for Avengers: Endgame.

What's most surprising about this trailer, other than it being comprised of entirely new footage, is that it looks like Endgame isn't picking up immediately after the events of Infinity War. Instead, it looks like some time has passed, but that the Avengers crew can't let it go and are still looking for a way to undo the dusting. That being said, I wouldn't expect to see anything that takes place outside the first act until at least after Captain Marvel comes out. I'm sure we'll look back fondly on these days before the marketing gives away two-thirds of the movie.

Check out the Avengers: Endgame TV spot below. The film opens April 26, 2019 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Don Cheadle, Karen Gillan, and Brie Larson.
