We're just over a month away from the latest entry in the MCU, Captain Marvel, arrives in a wonderful 90s whirlwind of band tees and Blockbuster tapes. We've already gotten a few trailers for the film showing off Brie Larson's intergalactic ass-kicker, but Disney just released a whole new batch of images giving a closer look not only at Larson's Carol Danvers, but also Lee Pace's Ronan the Accuser, Starforce members Bron-Char (Rune Temte) and Minn-erva (Gemma Chan), Lashana Lynch's Maria Rambeau, and Jude Law's maybe-maybe-not-a-villain Mar-vell. Plus, there's Samuel L. Jackson looking digitally young as hell, as well as Ben Mendelsohn under pounds of Skrull make-up, giving a high-def look at what that particular alien race looks like when they're not posing as the elderly.

Tragically, the new images contain no Goose. Note to Disney: There should always be a little Goose.

Captain Marvel—which also stars Clark Gregg, Annette Bening, and Djimon Hounsou—hits theaters on March 8. Check out the new images below, right after the film's official synopsis.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
