New Image from TOY STORY 3

Empire has landed a new image from Pixar’s highly-awaited sequel Toy Story 3 and it doesn’t show us much as the folks at Pixar are keeping their cards close to the vest on this one and I respect that.  I also think that Pixar has enough clout where they could just make sure everyone knows it comes out on June 18, 2010 with no further explanation.  I’m scared to meet anyone who needs convincing on a third Toy Story movie that wasn’t rushed into production but only made until they had a story worth telling.

While we don’t know much about the plot, it’s basically a prison break story where the toys have all been donated to a day-care center and need to find a new owner before they’re destroyed by careless and overly-affectionate toddlers.  I’m okay knowing that much and the only question I’d really like an answer to at this point is what happened to Mrs. Potato Head’s eye?  I noted it in the previous new image we saw and it’s really starting to creep me out.
