New Poster/Banner for the Remake of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

The tagline on this newly-released poster/banner for A Nightmare on Elm Street proclaims, “He knows where you sleep.”  This was better than the slightly-altered tagline I offered: “He probably knows where you sleep: In a bed (or possibly on a sofa).”  But you’ve got a silouette of Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley), his signature claw, and a scared looking teenager.  I think that’s all you need to sell this movie.

Hit the jump to check out the banner in high resolution along with the official synopsis.  A Nightmare on Elm Street hits theaters on April 30th.

Horror. Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley) returns in “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one another…but when they sleep, there is no escape.
