New Set Image from GREEN LANTERN Shows What Appears to be a Spaceship

     April 6, 2010

A set photo from Martin Campbell’s Green Lantern shows an unidentified non-flying object in the middle of a body of water.  I think it’s fair to call the object a spaceship seeing as that’s what test pilot Hal Jordan (played by Ryan Reynolds) stumbles upon and leads to him becoming the titular hero.  Specifically, Jordan was chosen as the successor to Green Lantern Corps member Abin Sur when Sur’s ship (possibly pictured in the set photo) crash-landed on Earth.  Before he died, Sur bestowed his power ring to Jordan, making the young pilot a part of the intergalactic peacekeeping organization, the Green Lantern Corps.

Or it could just be a tricked out Hyundai Sonata.  I’m just making educated guesses.
