The new teaser trailer and poster for Universal's upcoming animated flick Despicable Me both focus on the minions of Gru (voiced by Steve Carell).  What these minions do and how they factor into the film, I'm not sure.  What I do know is this: they're adorable.  Of all the teaser trailers they've released for the film, this one is by far my favorite.  None of the characters talk, it's just these weird bean-like creatures wearing overalls and goggles, and they're adorable.  They're also featured on the new poster but there are far more than just the two you see in the trailer.

In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon, yes, the moon. Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way.
