Netflix has released a new Triple Frontier trailer. The upcoming action-thriller centers on a group of former Special Forces operatives (Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal), underpaid and undervalued by their own government, decide to stage a heist against a South American drug lord. However, the heist turns out to be the least difficult part as the operatives must figure out a way to get out alive with the money.

This looks like an exciting action movie, and I’m eager to see it finally come to fruition. J.C. Chandor is an interesting director, and while I don’t always go for his movies, they at least have verve and personality, and I’m eager to see what he does with this genre. I’m also curious to see how a straightforward action film like this performs for Netflix. Obviously, there won’t be hard data, but I want to see if there’s any buzz around the movie or if it just fades as the streaming service moves on to dozens of other things.

Check out the new Triple Frontier trailer below. The film hits select theaters on March 6th and will be available on Netflix on March 13th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Triple Frontier:

A group of former Special Forces operatives (Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal) reunite to plan a heist in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America. For the first time in their prestigious careers these unsung heroes undertake this dangerous mission for self instead of country. But when events take an unexpected turn and threaten to spiral out of control, their skills, their loyalties and their morals are pushed to a breaking point in an epic battle for survival. Directed by Academy Award® nominee J.C. Chandor (Margin Call, All Is Lost, A Most Violent Year) and co-written by Chandor and Academy Award® winner Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty).
