A couple new clips for Tron: Legacy have appeared courtesy of a display booth on the show floor at the Nokia Connection 2010 convention in Singapore. Although I’m not a fan of low quality bootlegged footage, you have to give the film some credit because it still continues to look undeniably cool even if the new clips have been recorded off of a TV. Sadly, though, there really isn’t too much new stuff to be found in this footage. From what I can tell, we get to see a bit more of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) riding around on his motorcycle and a cool extended bit of the disk battle that we saw in the previous trailer. Still, if you’re a Tron fan and can’t wait to see the film, I’m sure you’ll at least get a kick out of seeing the few extra seconds added here and there. You can check out the video after the jump.
The video was found by a reader over at Slashfilm.
For those of you just tuning in, here is the official plot synopsis for Tron: Legacy:
TRON is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
