Warner Bros. has released 42 images from New Year’s Eve, one for every star in the film. The cast includes Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hilary Swank, Zac Efron, Sienna Miller, Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara, Abigail Breslin, Til Schweiger, Seth Meyers, Jon Bon Jovi, Josh Duhamel, and Carla Gugino. Garry Marshall directed the film in an attempt to recreate the box office success of his last ensemble holiday romantic comedy, Valentine’s Day. New Year’s Eve opens on December 9. just based on the TV spot, it looks like it wants to be love actually, but lacks any of the qualities of love actually that made it so great.
