The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, Ninja Turtles, is starting to take shape. After recent news that newcomer Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) had been tapped to play Raphael, more casting news has come down the line about the rest of the turtle team. Deadline reports that Pete Ploszek will play Leonardo, Jeremy Howard will play Donatello, and Noel Fisher will play Michelangelo.

Hit the jump to find out more about the cast of the new film.   Ninja Turtles is due out June 6, 2014.

The three other leads in the reboot come from varying backgrounds. Ploszek may be best known for his guest appearances on Parks and Recreation and Shameless. Fisher had a strong role Hatfields & McCoys, and he was in the cast of the final Twilight Saga film and also appeared in Battle: Los Angeles.  As for Howard, he has played a lot of guest-starring roles on shows including Breaking Bad, Suburgatory, and Grey's Anatomy.

But don't think just because most of the cast are relative newcomers that the reboot will be all about the costumes. The original turtles could hardly be distinguished under foam and latex, but word is that the reboot is supposed to take a more Avatar-like approach. So while some of the cast may be newcomers now, if all goes well with the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remake, it could make them into big stars.

The new film is already coming along nicely, which could bode well for its future at the box office.  Megan Fox has already been cast in the female lead role, and all evidence suggests that role of bad guy Shredder will be cast shortly along with the Turtles' sensei, Splinter.
