The first Now You See Me 2 image has been revealed from the set of the upcoming sequel, possibly subtitled The Second Act, and it may reveal even more than one thinks.  We do get our first look at the entire main cast in character—Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Lizzy Caplan, Dave Franco, Michael Caine, and Daniel Radcliffe—but it’s Eisenberg’s look that’s of most interest.  Specifically, the fact that he’s sporting a very close haircut, coming off of shooting his role as Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  I think it’s safe to assume that Luthor will be bald at some point in the superhero film, and that Eisenberg opted to go the all-natural route whether than wear a cap.  Not that it really matters; fidelity to the source material re: a character’s aesthetics isn’t paramount on the list of priorities.  Making a character compelling and fresh, that’s what’s most important.

But I digress.  Check out the first Now You See Me 2 image after the jump, along with more info on the magician-centric sequel.

Jon M. Chu steps into the director’s chair for Now You See Me: The Second Act, taking over from Louis Letterier.  The story adds the son of Michael Cain's character to the equation, played by Radcliffe, as well as Lizzy Caplan, though Isla Fisher does not return to reprise her role as "female character who has a handful of lines".  Here's hoping they give Caplan much more to do in this follow-up
