Lionsgate has released a new Now You See Me 2 trailer along with the first clip. This time around, the Four Horsemen are trapped into committing a heist rather than their usual M.O. of using magic tricks to steal from the rich and give to the poor. As you can see from the trailer, director Jon M. Chu is following suit from the first movie and just deciding that his protagonists are superheroes who don’t have time for pesky things such as physics or what’s possible. Instead, they can stop rainfall, fire playing cards around corners, and other CGI wizardry. Once you accept that their powers don’t have limits, you have what could be a colorful and fun caper flick. I particularly enjoy this clip where Morgan Freeman’s incarcerated baddie provides a brief recap while we’re shown visual illusions.

Check out the Now You See Me 2 trailer and clip below. The film opens on June 10th, and also stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan, Jay Chou, Daniel Radcliffe, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Caine.

Here’s the official synopsis for Now You See Me 2:

THE FOUR HORSEMEN [Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan] return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than WALTER MABRY [Daniel Radcliffe], a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.
