[Update: We've added the official U.S. version of the trailer as well.]

A new trailer for Now You See Me 2 has landed online in the form of an international trailer for the magician-centric follow-up. G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never director Jon M. Chu takes the helm this time around, taking over for the first movie’s Louis Letterrier, and this new trailer shows a much more fun-loving, much less serious sequel.

The follow-up finds the Four Horsemen—minus Ilsa Fisher’s underwritten character, substituted with a new (hopefully more substantial) addition played by Lizzy Caplan—trotting the globe with their Robin Hood-style spectacles a year after the events of the first movie, but they’re soon put in peril as the son of Michael Caine’s character, played by Daniel Radcliffe, forces them into pulling off their most treacherous heist yet.

This trailer is confusing from a plot standpoint—how is Morgan Freeman’s character pulling strings, and where do Radcliffe’s allegiances lie?—but in terms of entertainment, the film appears to deliver. My biggest problem with the first movie was the reliance on CG theatrics, as the whole point of magic is to pull off seemingly impossible tricks to the naked eye. That at least appears to be toned down a tad here, with Caplan and Co. assuming a bit more of a knowingly ridiculous attitude that suits the movie a bit better.

Check out the new international trailer below, followed by some character posters. The film also stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Jay Chou, and Sanaa Lathan. Now You See Me 2 opens in theaters on June 10th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Now You See Me 2:

THE FOUR HORSEMEN [Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan] return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than WALTER MABRY [Daniel Radcliffe], a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all. Summit Entertainment presents a K/O Paper Products production a Jon M. Chu film.
