It’s shot with a digital camera, so obviously it will suck.

    • Marty

I cant imagine this movie with the film camera. Oblivion looks great digitally. Not always digital is bad and theres many examples (im talking about visuals): Social Network, The Girl Wtih The Dragon Tattoo, Zodiac, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Tron: Legacy, Flight, Prometheus, Contagion, To the Wonder…

Dumbest comment of all-time, you take the prize.

“… an original and groundbreaking cinematic event” might be overselling yourself there. Another dystopian tale, just another drop in the bucket.

    Looks way better than wwz!

  • Lob Taylor

    This looks gorgeous!!!
Have to break out the bank to go watch this on a really big Imax Screen.
Luv Tom Cruise being intense in an action flick!

  • Strong Enough

I would rather see JGL in this role or Christian Bale, directed by Nolan.

I, for one, would rather see new (i.e, fresh) permutations of the good talent in Hollywood.

    • Marty

So sick of this shit. There is no other talented and great visual director than Nolan? What about Duncan Jones, Darren Aronofski, David Fincher, Ridley Scott, Guilermo Del Toro…?

      • Steve

They all copied Nolan. (I don’t really believe that. I’m just saving the Nolanites the trouble of typing it.)

  • spongefist

Why oh why do they waste such big budgets on such a terrible actor – did you check out the ‘Tom Eagle Eyes’ bit…? EVERY FUCKING MOVIE !!!

    • ap30

Tom Cruise is the man. Not sure where you get your information from.

    • Trippy Trellis

Could it be because only John Wayne and Clint Eastwood have been bigger at the box office in the history of motion pictures?

I like the looks of this but the trailer music (especially the Inception “BRRRMMM” noise) is AWFUL …..otherwise this looks great!!
