It’s been nearly three years since director Spike Jonze’s last feature, the touching Where the Wild Things Are, but he’s lining up a stacked cast for his next project.  Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, and Amy Adams are all onboard for the untitled film, and now comes word that Olivia Wilde has joined the cast as well.  The story centers on a man who falls in love with the voice of a computer device, presumably a Siri-like feature on an iPhone.  Buried in a Deadline article announcing the fact that Sony Pictures Worldwide has struck a deal with Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures to distribute the film internationally is the addition of Wilde to the cast.  The actress herself then took to Twitter to confirm her involvement in the pic.Wilde has a number of high profile and impressive projects on her upcoming slate.  She recently wrapped Ron Howard’s F-1 racing drama Rush with Chris Hemsworth and the comedy Burt Wonderstone with Jim Carrey, she’s set to star opposite Liam Neeson in Paul Haggis’ Third Person, and she’s in talks to join the stellar cast of Peter Bogdanovich’s upcoming comedy Squirrels to the Nuts.
