Typically, when someone wants to do a cutesy remake, they turn to Disney princesses. "What if Disney princesses went to Hogwarts?" "What would Game of Thrones characters look like as Disney princesses?" Dark Disney princess, Marvel Disney princesses … it’s all out there, folks. But what about another cute (and cuddly) Disney property, Winnie-the-Pooh? Pooh Bear is woefully overlooked in terms of his potential for filmic parody. And now, he finally gets his day! (And a jar of honey for his troubles, one hopes).

The Renaissance of Pooh Bear all started with a brilliant tweet from the user @dilsexia, who poked fun at The Revenant and Leonardo DiCaprio’s infamous bear-tussling scene by posting this picture of Pooh and Christopher Robin:

That, evidently, inspired Polish film blogger David Adamek to propose some of his own Pooh Bear substitutions for this year’s Oscar nominated films, also featuring Piglet, Tigger, Kanga, Rabbit, Eeyore, Roo, and Rabbit. (There are also a ton of other Disney suggestions for Oscar posters in the Twitter mentions, but most are Disney princesses ... of course!) You can see the full list of posters on his site, but also check out a few of the selections below (including my favorite, The Martian, although they all make me laugh). Which one is your favorite?
