A new poster for director Sam Raimiâs Oz the Great and Powerful has been released. Disney released a new poster on Halloween featuring the filmâs Wicked Witch, and this new one-sheet highlights the numerous fantastical creatures that inhabit Raimiâs Oz. The pic is a prequel to the classic The Wizard of Oz, and centers on a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics (James Franco) who finds himself transported to Oz and drawn into a battle between the three witches Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams). The two posters that have been released form two-thirds of a triptych, so expect one more poster soon.Hit the jump to check out the poster, which sadly is of fairly poor quality. Weâll be sure to update when/if Yahoo! releases a higher quality version. The film also stars Zach Braff and Abigail Spencer. Oz the Great and Powerful opens on March 8th, 2013.Via Yahoo!Hereâs the synopsis for Oz the Great and Powerful:
