Plus, we have a new clip to share with you that should tide you over.

Two of our most anticipated films of the last quarter of 2012 just so happen to be Sam Mendes’ Skyfall and Rich Moore’s Wreck-It Ralph. Today, we have a new TV spot for the latest and greatest James Bond movie that features Bond (Daniel Craig), his antagonist Silva (Javier Bardem) and lots of guns and action. Things get a bit more subdued in the first clip from Wreck-It Ralph, in which we see our titular hero, voiced by John C. Reilly, meeting Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman).
Skyfall, also starring Judi Dench, Benwhishaw, Helen McCrory, Ralph Fiennes, Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, opens November 9th stateside. The animated Wreck-It Ralph, which features the voices of Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Ed O’Neill and Adam Carolla, opens a week earlier on November 2nd. Hit the jump to see the new spots.

If you missed any of the recent trailers for Sam Mendes’ James Bond flick, Skyfall, or the excellent theme song by Adele, you’re in luck because now you can enjoy them both together! The theme song is great on its own and I’m sure that it’ll fit nicely with the opening credits of Skyfall, but it feels a bit forced in this patched together trailer.
Skyfall stars Daniel Craig, Ben Whishaw, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem. It opens stateside November 9th. Hit the jump to see the new trailer.

New clips have gone online for two of our most anticipated films of the end of 2012. First up is an extended look at the stunt sequence we saw in the trailer for Sam Mendes’ James Bond flick, Skyfall. Daniel Craig does his best train-jumping work here as he transitions from construction vehicle to train carriage in debonair fashion.
Speaking of debon-air (sorry), Denzel Washington is featured in this official TV spot for Robert Zemeckis’ Flight. The thirty-second ad, titled “Hero,” focuses on the vantage point of Washington’s character as a savior when he rescues his passengers by successfully crash-landing a jumbo jet. Skyfall opens stateside November 9th; Flight lands a week earlier on November 2nd. Hit the jump to see both videos.

Sony Pictures has released fifteen new images from the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall. As you’ll see from the images, new MI6 agent Eve (Naomie Harris) just won’t be about in the rough-and-tumble field. She’ll also get to dress up nice and pretty to kick some ass. Also, looking at these images and at the trailer, I love the way cinematographer Roger Deakins has shot this film. Then again, I love the way Roger Deakins shoots anything.
Hit the jump to check out the new images. The film also stars Daniel Craig, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes, and Javier Bardem. Skyfall opens November 9th.

Even secret agents get thirsty now and then. While James Bond’s beer tastes may differ from The Most Interesting Man in the World, we now know what he prefers when he’s not drinking a martini shaken, not stirred. Daniel Craig and Bond Girl Berenice Marlohe appear in this new action-packed ad for Heineken. The spot features a non-Bond running away from some ne’er-do-wells when he runs smack dab into the Bond pair, enjoying a cool, refreshing Heineken. Hit the jump to check it out.
Director Sam Mendes’ Skyfall, starring Craig, Marlohe, Judi Dench, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory and Javier Bardem, opens November 9th stateside.

Another day, another batch of blurry set photos featuring some of your favorite barely recognizable stars. Today, we have our first look at Kick-Ass 2 star Christopher Mintz-Plasse in costume as The Motherfucker. He doesn’t appear to be dressed in the same black-and-orange duds we saw him in at the end of Kick-Ass, but it’s hard to get a decent look in these lo-res images. We’ve also got first looks at Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem in Ridley Scott’s The Counselor. I didn’t think it possible, but Bardem looks even stranger here than he does in Skyfall. Maybe it’s just the pocket-fan. Hit the jump to check out the set photos.

A new international trailer for Skyfall shows off a bit more footage from one of the film’s big action sequences. In previous trailers, we’ve seen star Daniel Craig stick a landing on the floor of a train in the process of being demolished. Now, we get to see what else he’s capable of doing while running around Istanbul.
The Sam Mendes film also stars Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem. Skyfall opens November 9th domesticaly. Hit the jump to watch the new footage in this international trailer.

If I were making a parody of a Terrence Malick movie, I’d make his new film, To The Wonder. It takes all of his trademarks—softly spoken narration, gorgeous cinematography, orchestral score, poetic ruminations—and forgets why they worked in his other pictures. To The Wonder reveals that Malick’s previous movies succeed because they’re intimate stories painted on a larger canvas. By comparison, To The Wonder is an intimate story about intimacy, so it collapses in on itself as characters endlessly muse on the nature of love without the audience ever sharing that feeling, or any other emotion for that matter. It is a loveless movie about love where all of Malick’s trademarks feel like tricks.

We can now confirm what we reported yesterday, that Daniel Craig will return for the next two James Bond films. Craig will star in the 24th and 25th installments, making him the third-longest tenured actor to play Bond (after Sean Connery and Roger Moore). Deadline also confirms that Sony Pictures will also return to co-finance those two films, as it has with Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and the upcoming Sam Mendes picture, Skyfall. Speaking of Skyfall, we’ve got new word on just how long the film will run along with a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the opening sequence. Hit the jump for all of that and more!
Skyfall, also starring Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe and Ola Rapace opens October 26th in the UK and November 9th in the US.

The elusive yet brilliant filmmaker Terrence Malick has been a busy man this year, working on two brand new features with all-star casts that include people like Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, and Cate Blanchett. However, while I was thrilled to hear that Malick is becoming so prolific as of late, we still hadn’t heard anything about the director’s “mysterious” romantic drama To the Wonder, which he shot in 2010. We knew that the film starred Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Olga Kurylenko and Javier Bardem, but next to nothing was known about the film’s plot.
Good news was delivered late last month when it was announced that To the Wonder would be screening this fall at the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals, confirming that Malick has (hopefully) completed his lengthy post-production. The press notes for the Venice Film Festival, which is currently running, provide an incredibly detailed and eye-opening look at the plot for To the Wonder, along with some comments about the film from star Ben Affleck. Hit the jump to take a look.

With the release date looming closer, a batch of new images from the 23rd James Bond film Skyfall has landed online. Director Sam Mendes takes the reins this time around with Daniel Craig’s Bond facing off against an uber-creepy Javier Bardem as the film’s villain. These new images are revelatory in that we learn James Bond has difficulty shaving when there are ladies present, and he gets very angry when you knock over his favorite statue.
Hit the jump to check out the images. The film also stars Naomi Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Whishaw. Skyfall opens on November 9th.

If you’ve got a recognizable name like the folks pictured above, you’d think that once you sign onto a project, you can expect to see your face on the big screen. That’s not the case when Terrence Malick is the director. Although Rachel Weisz, Barry Pepper, Amanda Peet and Michael Sheen all filmed scenes for the Badlands director’s film, To the Wonder, all of them were left on the cutting room floor. The film screens this coming Sunday at the Venice Film Festival before moving on to TIFF next week. Hit the jump for why the actors’ scenes were cut and who is left in the finished film.

Sony has released a new banner for the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall. I thought the teaser poster was a bit bland (it could have been used for any James Bond film), but it’s a masterpiece compared to four characters standing in front of a logo. The banner almost looks like it’s trying to advertise clothes than a movie. It’s also odd that they’ve pushed poor Daniel Craig all the way to the side. Yes, from left to right the position makes some sense, but if you look at it as a whole, the villain (Javier Bardem) is the one who grabs your attention.
Hit the jump to check out the full banner. The film also stars Berenice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes. Skyfall opens November 9th. [Update: Character posters for each actor have now been released, and these are also included after the jump]

The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly has some new images from the upcoming James Bond flick, Skyfall. The new images throw some of the spotlight on the new Bond girl (Berenice Marlohe) and the villain, Silva (Javier Bardem). There’s nothing particularly revealing about the images, but after watching the excellent new trailers, I’m down for any fresh glimpses of the movie until the ads start revealing the whole damn thing a month before the release date.
Hit the jump to check out the images. The film also stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes. Skyfall opens November 9th. [Update: EW has released a number of new images, which are now included after the jump]
