Yesterday, new set photos from Tom Hooper‘s Les Miserables went online and now three set videos have followed. A couple of the videos are pretty standard stuff. One video has Javert (Russell Crowe) riding around on horseback, and another has Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) charging out of a church and ripping up a piece of paper while singing the last note of a song, although I’m not sure which one (perhaps “What Have I Done?”). But the most exciting video is the cast singing part of the show’s finale.
Hit the jump to check out the videos. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, and Helena Bonham Carter. Les Miserables opens December 14th.

A few weeks ago we brought you a roundup of some great images from the set of Ron Howard’s Formula 1 racing drama Rush, and now some video has surfaced from one of the scenes in question. The film chronicles the 1970s rivalry between Austrian F1 driver Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) and British driver James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth), and this video shows Hemsworth and Olivia Wilde (who plays his squeeze) filming a scene together. Howard has been sharing a large amount of photos from the set via his personal Twitter account, but this video comes from an unofficial onlooker. Though I’ve found the director’s recent output to be a bit disappointing, I love the cast he’s put together here and I’m excited to see the finished product
Hit the jump to check out the video, which may be considered a minor spoiler for the film. We’ve also included a fair amount of new photos that Howard has shared from the set, including some tense looking hospital scenes.

We saw our first photo evidence of shooting on Now You See Me earlier in the week. ET has followed it up with a piece full of nice footage from the set. The clip gives us a good look at the production, and introduces us to a few of the characters by talking to stars Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Michael Caine, and Dave Franco. Fisher offers the best sound bite:
“We are modern day Robin Hoods. We’re getting back at corporate greed, and we’re distributing the wealth. We’re essentially anarchists—good guys, good magicians, righting the wrongs of the world.”
Although, she also says she likes to think they’re shooting “the sequel to The Bridesmaids because all the boys are so in touch with their feminine side.” So maybe she’s not the best source on what the film is about. No worries. We added the full synopsis after the jump along with the set video and a few screencaps. Mark Ruffalo, Melanie Laurent, and Morgan Freeman also star in Now You See Me, directed by Louis Leterrier (Clash of the Titans) for release on January 18, 2013.

CBC News posted a video report that marvels at how a $150 million Hollywood movie transformed Toronto into a “Japanese disaster zone.” The production directed by Guillermo del Toro is referred to as Silent Seas and Still Seas in the report, but we know it better as Pacific Rim. We don’t see any filming in the video, but it is neat to see the detail of the set design, from the various signage right down to the plastic cherry blossoms tied into the trees. Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Willem Dafoe, Charlie Day, Rob Kazinsky, Max Martini, Diego Klattenhoff, and Clifton Collins Jr. star in the movie that pits humans (and their robots) against monsters. Pacific Rim opens on July 12, 2013. Hit the jump to watch the set video and check out a few photos of the disaster zone that a kind reader sent in.

James Bond is nothing without his beautiful female co-stars, and his new film, Skyfall, he’ll be joined by Naomie Harris (28 Days Later) and newcomer Bérénice Marlohe. While initial reports pegged Harris as the new Moneypenny, it turned out she was playing a field agent named “Eve”. Harris’ videoblog focuses on the actress’ firearms training, and she notes that her character believes she’s Bond’s equal even though she’s not. As for Marlohe, who plays “Sévérine”, and the actress believes that the range of Bond Girl personalities over the years allows her the freedom to find her own take on the character. She also says that the first time we see Sévérine, “she has a dark side.”
Hit the jump to check out the video blogs. The film also stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes. Skyfall opens November 9th.

The clear highlight from last week’s batch of Star Trek 2 set photos was Benedict Cumberbatch (highlight to read) and Zachary Quinto (and their stunt doubles) in a scuffle. Tonight we have footage of the fight. Admittedly, it will look much cooler in the theater when the green screen is filled in and the scene is properly shot and edited. But I think you’ll find your imagination is willing to fill in some of the holes when it’s Spock vs. Sherlock.
Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, John Cho, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, and Noel Clarke also star. Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Trek 2 opens May 17, 2013. Watch the clip after the jump.

After last year’s Race of the Snow White Movies, Tarsem Singh‘s Mirror Mirror will be the first to hit theaters with Snow White and the Huntsman opening two months later. Mirror Mirror doesn’t look any good, but it will be first and that’s what’s important, at least to audiences who will think, “Didn’t we just see a Snow White movie?” when Snow White and the Huntsman rolls around. In an interview on the set of Mirror Mirror, actor Armie Hammer (who plays Prince Charming) says he’s glad his movie is coming out first, so hooray for release schedules, I guess. But more than a comparing their movie to Huntsman, Hammer and co-star Lily Collins (Snow White) say how much they enjoyed working together. I continue to wait for the day when an actor does a promotional interview and says of his or her co-star “I hate that person so much. Just thinking about him/her makes me vomit in my mouth.” I’m going to be waiting for a while.
Hit the jump to check out the interview. The film also stars Julia Roberts and Nathan Lane. Mirror Mirror opens March 30th.

Because major Awards bodies still think in 20th century terms, it’s unlikely Andy Serkis will get the Oscar nomination he deserves for Rise of the Planet of the Apes. There seems to be confusion over whether digital make-up does too much work for the actor, and I can understand that thinking. However, when it comes to Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Serkis’ performance as Caesar, that thinking is absolutely wrong and a new behind-the-scenes video proves it. If anything, the video shows WETA’s incredible special effects almost struggling to keep up with the actor rather than embellishing his performance.
If you had any doubt as to whether or not Serkis deserves an Oscar nomination for his performance, hit the jump to check out this video. Oscar nominations will be announced on January 24th at 8:38 AM (EST).

A new poster and behind-the-scenes video have gone online for Timur Bekmambetov‘s adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The film re-imagines the 16th president (played by Benjamin Walker) as a slayer of vamps after one of them killed his mother when he was a boy. In the movie, Anthony Mackie plays Lincoln’s lifelong pal, William. Mackie jokingly tells MTV his character’s relationship with Walker’s is like 48 Hours with Walker as the Nick Nolte character. If he had been serious, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter would have shot to the top of my must-see list instead of languishing near the bottom of my “I’ll See It because It’s My Job to Do So”-list. Bekmambetov also said, “I like it when my characters are likable.” He then offered no explanation regarding any of the characters in Wanted.
After seeing the set video, I’m at least curious to see how Walker will play Lincoln, because right now he just looks like a guy who wants to sell some used cars over Presidents Day weekend. Hit the jump to check out the set video along with a new poster. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter opens in 3D on June 22nd. [Update: We’ve added 3 new images after the jump.

The official James Bond website 007.com has re-launched 297 days before the release of the latest Bond film, Skyfall. Producer Michael G. Wilson provides a brief introduction to the new site along with an even briefer behind-the-scenes glimpse at filming. In other Bond news, Ralph Fiennes‘ character has been kept under wraps but he tells Daily Mail, “I’m allowed to say that I’m a government agent.” Back in February, director Sam Mendes said the role was “one of extreme complexity.”
Hit the jump to check out the introduction video. The film also stars Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris, Ben Chaplin, Judi Dench, Berenice Marlohe, Helen McCroy, and Albert Finney. Skyfall opens November 9th.

There have been so many unofficial set videos as of late that it’s nice to see one that’s studio approved. Sony has released a brief behind-the-scenes clip from David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. There’s a rough quality which implies the clip is leaked, but I’m pretty sure Fincher would notice someone who’s a foot away from him and holding up a camera phone. Keep in mind that Sony played this card with the “leaked” trailer for the film. But as we charge into the fall movie season, it’s nice to have a little reminder that the “Feel Bad Movie of Christmas” is on the way.
Hit the jump to check out the clip. The film stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright, and Stellan Skarsgard. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo opens December 21st.

A video from the set of director Marc Forster’s (Quantum of Solace) adaptation of Max Brooks’ World War Z has popped up online and it gives viewers a great look at what transforming into a zombie is all about (Hint: you become very flexible). Starring Brad Pitt, Bryan Cranston, Anthony Mackie, Matthew Fox, Mireille Enos and James Badge Dale, the film centers on a United Nations employee (Pitt) who trots around the globe in an attempt to stop a devastating pandemic.
Check out the set video after the jump. World War Z is set to open on December 21st, 2012.

It may be a national holiday but there’s no break from behind-the-scenes photos and videos from Joss Whedon’s The Avengers. This weekend was the photos, today it’s the videos. A movie I’m really excited for is director Robert Schwentke’s (Red) adaptation of the graphic novel R.I.P.D. If you’re not familiar with it, the story centers on a cop who, after being killed in the line of duty, is recruited by a team of undead police officers to work for the “Rest In Piece Department.” They try to keep other dead folks in line. As the film progresses, he sets out to find the man that murdered him. Ryan Reynolds is attached to play said cop, while Jeff Bridges will play Reynolds’ partner, a seasoned veteran of the “R.I.P.D.” In addition, Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, James Hong (Blade Runner) Mike O’Malley (Glee) and Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated model Marisa Miller co-star.
While I’d heard filming was set to begin in mid-September in Boston, it appears they did a bit of filming yesterday at Fenway Park. I know this because Collider reader Mark sent in some footage. While it’s only a short clip, it does show Marisa Miller and James Hong in costume. Hit the jump for more.
