Earlier this morning Paramount Pictures took the CinemaCon stage to show off footage from some of their upcoming films and talk about what they have in development. While the studio has a lot of upcoming projects, the real focus of today’s presentation was on Terminator Genisys and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. For Terminator, the studio had Arnold Schwarzenegger introduce the footage and we got to see approximately 12 minutes from the film. For Mission Impossible 5, Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson introduced two action sequences that featured Cruise getting out of a very difficult situation and then an action set piece that featured most of the team. While some of you might be nervous about Terminator and even Mission: Impossible, I really enjoyed all the footage and think Paramount has two great looking films on their hands.

Besides these two films, the studio had a great video of Ben Stiller as Derek Zoolander for Zoolander 2, a video message from J.J. Abrams and director Justin Lin for Star Trek 3, a logo for Ninja Turtles 2 and production artwork for Bebop and Rocksteady, some footage from Monster Trucks, and more.

When the presentation ended I sat down with Peter from /film and recorded a video blog about the footage and our thoughts on the overall presentation. Watch it below and look for our thoughts on the Warner Bros. panel later tonight.
