The first images have been released from Robert Luketic‘s upcoming thriller Paranoia.  The film stars Liam Hemsworth as Adam Cassidy, an entry-level employee at a corporation run by Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman).  When Wyatt turns Cassidy into a corporate spy against rival Jock Goddard (Harrison Ford), Cassidy is drawn into a dangerous web of intrigued.  I’m currently indifferent regarding Hemsworth since I haven’t really see what he can do as a leading man (he was barely in The Hunger Games), but I’m eager to see the face off between Oldman and Ford.

Hit the jump to check out the images.  The film also stars Lucas Till, Amber Heard, Embeth Davidtz, Julian McMahon, and Josh HollowayParanoia opens October 4, 2013.

Here’s the official synopsis for Paranoia:

In this high-stakes thriller, Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) is a regular guy trying to get ahead in his entry-level job at Wyatt Corporation. But after one costlymistake, Adam’s ruthless CEO, Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman), forces him to spy on corporate rival, Jock Goddard (Harrison Ford), Wyatt’s old mentor.  Adam soon finds himself occupying the corner office and living the life he only dreamed of.  However, behind the scenes, he is simply a pawn in Wyatt’s corporate game and realizes he must ultimately find a way out from under his boss who will stop at nothing, even murder, to win a multi-billion dollar advantage.

Thank for the article but please proofread it first. The easily fixable misspellings and grammatical errors are annoying to read through.

I have to agree with the poster above in regard to the spelling and grammatical issues. I am making the presume that you are a professional journalist, and as such my expectations would be that the copy submitted would be at least presented without such minor and easily remedied issues.

Harrison Ford, why are you looking like Ben Kingsley?

I didn’t know what you thought about Hemsworth, but consider myself informed. Thanks for the update, Matt!
