Eight years after the Paranormal Activity world premiere at Screamfest, the franchise is wrapping up its run with the fifth installment. (Or sixth if you count The Marked Ones). Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension features a whole batch of new characters, but they wind up becoming the latest victims of the same evil entity that targeted Katie and Kristi. With just two weeks to go until the big finish, we scored an exclusive Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension featurette with producer Jason Blum discussing what's to come and why the 3D is important to the narrative.

As a big fan of the franchise, it's tough not to be a bit disappointed that this is it, but it's nice to know that Blum, Paranormal Activity editor-turned-director Gregory Plotkin and the rest of the team aren't going to call it quits until they've addressed all the unanswered questions the films have posed over the years. Check out the Paranormal Acitvity: The Ghost Dimension featurette for yourself below and if you'd like even more information on the film straight from Blum, click here for my interview with him. We'll finally get to see Toby once and for all when the film hits theaters nationwide on October 23rd.
