We here at Collider love smashing things together, so it's obvious why we love Mark Levinson's Particle Fever, a documentary that goes inside the Large Hadron Collider.  The film takes a look at the numbers of one of the world's largest machines, which boasts a 17-mile circumference 100 feet underground just outside of Geneva, Switzerland, and facilitates the work of some 10,000 scientists from 100 countries.  Particle Fever, which opens in limited release in New York on March 5th before expanding, highlights six of the researchers to follow along in their quest to unravel the mysteries of the universe.  Hit the jump to watch the documentary's first trailer.
