Patrick Wilson Investigates THE A-TEAM

You know how last week we were all excited that Sharlto Copley had broken through in a big way by getting cast as one of the leads in Joe Carnahan’s upcoming “A-Team” alongside Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, and Rampage Jackson?  And that Jessica Biel was also on board?  Ummm….well, we accidentally missed one, very cool additional bit of casting.  Hit the jump to find out how Patrick Wilson is getting into the mix.

I know, I know.  We should really read the entire article before we report the news.  Empire, who actually reads an article from beginning to end, noted that Patrick Wilson had also joined the cast as a CIA operative.  Since I can’t imagine the “A-Team” needing any more allies, could he be the villain?  He’d be great on either side but a slick bureaucrat would be a pretty good foil for the framed, fugitive A-Team.  “Watchmen”, despite its mixed response, certainly raised Wilson’s profile and if he’s in the cast, then its becoming pretty clear that Carnahan isn’t blowing his budget on the biggest names but on fantastic actors and (hopefully) killer set pieces.  In the meantime, we’ll focus on trying to read the entire article and not just the catchy headline.
