20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios have released the first full-length The Peanuts Movie trailer for the CG-animated adaptation of the beloved, iconic characters created by the late Charles Schulz.  Directed by Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who!) and produced by Paul Feig, the story follows "the little round-headed boy with the indomitable optimism on a quest to get something he’s sure he needs, even though he discovers he’s pretty OK just as he is."  Even though the trailer uses a pop song, it's clear that it's part of the trailer and not part of the movie.  The movie looks not only charming, but more importantly, that it's keeping the tone of the comic and TV specials.  That's the real challenge, and I'm very encouraged by this new trailer.

Hit the jump to watch the new trailer.  The Peanuts Movie opens in 3D on November 6, 2015
