Epix has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming drama series Pennyworth, which will give Bruce Wayne's butler his own origin story. The 10-episode hourlong series will pick up with Alfred (Jack BannonThe Imitation Game), fresh out of the British SAS, forming his own security agency in 1960s London -- an agency that catches the attention of a young American billionaire named Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge, Fleabag).

The series comes from Gotham alumni Bruno Heller (serving as an EP and writer) and Danny Cannon (also executive producing as well as directing), so you know it's going to be suitably bonkers. A hint of that is given in this short trailer, which includes a very seductive Queen Elizabeth. (I mean, we knew this was going to be Hot Alfred Who F--ks, but the Queen?!) It all looks extremely mod and stylish, and of course finally gives Alfred the centerstage ... although the Wayne family still looks to be heavily represented.

In addition to Bannon and Aldridge, the series' cast includes UK recording artist Paloma FaithJason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Ryan Fletcher (Outlander), Hainsley Lloyd Bennett (Eastenders), Emma Paetz (Gentleman Jack) and Polly Walker (The Mentalist, Rome).

Production on the series is currently underway at Warner Bros, with a premiere set for summer of 2019; check out the teaser below:
