Are you ready to meet Pete’s giant, green rage monster…I mean, dragon? Disney is getting ready to drop a brand-new trailer for Pete’s Dragon tomorrow with actress Bryce Dallas Howard on Access Hollywood. But the Mouse House is whetting your appetite with a teaser for the footage. Though it’s still unclear what fans might see for the first time, it seems like it’ll be a solid look at the titular beast. It’s safe to assume it’ll be a little more imposing than the animated version from the 1977 Don Chaffey film.

The young Oakes Fegley plays the titular Pete, a mysterious, feral boy found fending for himself in the woods of the Pacific Northwest — or, at least, it appears he’s by himself. As the teaser previews, he’s so, so not. Watch it below.

Ahead of the trailer, Disney also released a new poster for the film that, once again, holds back the full-frontal reveal of the mythical creature for a later, presumably more dramatic reveal. But we’re only catching the tail end.

Fegley and Howard are joined by Robert Redford, Karl Urban, Wes Bentley, Oona Laurence, Craig Hall, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. in the film directed by David Lowery (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints). Pete’s Dragon will be released in theaters on August 12.

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliott. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon.
