project-x

With producer Todd Phillips and director Nima Nourizadeh‘s Project X opening next weekend, we’ve been provided with some movie related swag to giveaway to a number of our readers.  The film stars  Thomas Mann, Miles Teller, Oliver Cooper, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Dax Flame, Nichole O’Connor and Alexis Knapp.

As you’ve seen in the trailers, images and clips, Project X is an R-rated feature that follows a group of high school seniors who throw a party that gets way, way out of hand.   I caught an early screening and am happy to report Project X is hysterically funny and absolutely worth checking out next weekend.  There is no way you leave the theater disappointed.  Hit the jump to see what you can win.

In order to enter the contest, email thecollidermailbox@gmail.com with your name and address and say PROJECT X Giveaway in the headline.  This giveaway will be open until March 9 at noon Pacific Time and is only open to residents of the United States.  Also, only one entry per person.  Once the giveaway ends, I’ll look over the entries and randomly pick out some winners. It never hurts to mention why you think you deserve to win.  Here’s what we’ve got:

Synopsis

project-x-poster“Project X” follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves.  Their idea is innocent enough: let’s throw a party that no one will forget… but nothing could prepare them for this party.  Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born.  “Project X” is a warning to parents and police everywhere.

Nima Nourizadeh makes his feature film debut directing a cast of newcomers who scored parts through a nationwide talent search.  Todd Phillips (“The Hangover” films) produced the film, with Joel Silver, Scott Budnick, Andrew Rona, Alex Heineman and Marty P. Ewing executive producing.  The screenplay was written by Matt Drake and Michael Bacall (“Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”), based on a story by Bacall.

“Project X” stars Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Dax Flame, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Brady Hender, Nick Nervies, Alexis Knapp and Miles Teller (“Footloose”).

The behind-the-scenes creative team includes cinematographer Ken Seng (“Step Up 3D”), production designer Bill Brzeski (“The Hangover” films, “Due Date”), editor Jeff Groth (TV’s “Entourage”), and costume designer Alison McCosh (assistant costume designer, “The Hangover” films).

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, a Silver Pictures production, in association with Green Hat Films, “Project X,” scheduled for release on March 2, 2012.

The film is rated R for crude and sexual content throughout, nudity, drugs, drinking, pervasive language, reckless behavior and mayhem—all involving teens.
