A new featurette for Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus has gone online. While I don’t think the three-minute trailer laid out any major spoilers, I feel like we’re getting to the advertising-spoils-everything point, so I’m going dark on the movie. I can’t tell you what’s in this new featurette except that it’s entitled “Origins”.

As we reported earlier this week, the film will be Rated-R for “sci-fi violence including some intense images, and brief language.” The movie stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Rafe Spall, Sean Harris, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce, and Charlize Theron. Prometheus opens in 3D on June 8th.

It was shot in 3D using two RED epic cameras. It’s going to look fantastic!
