Exclusive IMAX Poster Debut for PROMETHEUS Midnight Showings

Director Ridley Scott’s Prometheus is finally opening next week, and anticipation is running high.  Steve recently shared his interviews with Scott, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron and Guy Pearce, and today we’re happy to debut the new IMAX poster for the film that will be handed out at midnight showings across the country.  Here are the details straight from IMAX:

Exclusively for IMAX fans – those attending the Prometheus midnight shows in North America in the first hours of June 8th receive an exclusive, limited edition poster.  The never-before-seen artwork teases the mysteries unlocked in Prometheus, and is available as part of IMAX 12:01. Check for list of participating theatres on imax.com; while supplies last.

Here’s the synopsis for Prometheus:

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe.   1. I saw Prometheus today with 2 friends and it was a truly great film. It was very complex though, so I think I am going to have to see it again to try and understand it better.

  2. i’ve read that the plot is very simple and disapointing, if you’ve watched the trailers then you know everything

  3. Right, and where are non-Americans like myself going to get a hold of this? I’ve already been to see the damn movie on its UK release date, and I didn’t get a poster.
