With news being slow on the weekends, I’m starting a column called PSA Sunday. As you can probably deduce from the title, every Sunday morning I’ll be posting a PSA featuring TV or movie characters and/or celebrities telling you not to do something. And up first, I’ve got a vintage PSA featuring the creatures of the Star Wars Cantina in the famous “Friends don’t let friends drive drunk” campaign produced for the US Dept of Transportation in 1979. While I’d seen a few Star Wars PSAs, I’d never seen this one. Hit the jump to watch.
