No matter how you feel about Quentin Tarantino’s films or even his public persona, no one is going to argue that the man knows his movies. He’s seen more movies than most people will see in ten full, boring lifetimes and I always go by the following rule: find the guy who has seen more movies than you and then watch what he (or she) recommends. At worst, you’ll have a new film that expands your cinematic knowledge and might move you out of your comfort zone.
Mr. Tarantino told EW about twenty films he thinks you should see not only because he thinks they’re good but because they have posters that would look much better on your wall than that “Hannah Montana” poster that was totally for your sister but you put it up on a dare and just forgot to take it down. Check out the list after the jump. Tarantino’s latest film, “Inglourious Basterds”, hits theaters on Friday.
