Tuesday TV Ratings: AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE Tick Up; MINDY PROJECT Earns Season Low

Tuesday evening’s TV ratings are in.  Here’s a brief look at the highlights:

  • ABC’s Thor: The Dark World “tie-in” episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ticked up one tenth from last week’s series low to a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demo and scored 6.85 million viewers.  Read Evan’s full recap here.
  • The swell new Fox comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine also ticked up, earning a 1.5 rating and 3.36 million viewers for a rise of one tenth from last week’s 1.4 rating.
  • Elsewhere on Fox, The Mindy Project garnered a season low 1.2 rating and 2.41 million viewers, dropping two tenths from last week’s 1.4 rating.

  • new-girl-longest-night-everDads notched a 1.3 rating and 3.21 million viewers, rising one tenth from last week’s series low 1.2 rating.
  • Brooklyn Nine-Nine was also up, hitting a 1.5 rating and 3.36 million viewers for a rise of one tenth from last week’s rating.
  • New Girl was even with last week’s series low 1.7 rating and scored 3.28 million viewers.
  • Closing out the night, The Mindy Project dropped two tenths from last week’s 1.4 rating ot a season low 1.2 rating and 2.41 million viewers.


  • Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hit a 2.3 rating and 6.85 million viewers, actually scoring a small uptick from last week’s series low 2.2 rating.
  • The new comedy series The Goldbergs scored a 1.6 rating and 5.14 million viewers, dropping a tenth from last week’s 1.7 rating.


  • NCIS was even with last week’s 3.0 rating and 19.39 million viewers, easily making it the most-watched program of the night.
  • The second most-watched program of the night was, surprise surprise, NCIS: LA, which hit a 2.5 rating and 14.9 million viewers for a rise over last week’s 2.4 rating.
  • Person of Interest was even with last week’s 2.0 rating and scored 12.07 million viewers.


  • Chicago Fire earned a season low 1.9 rating and 7.44 million viewers, dropping three tenths from last week’s 2.2 rating.
