TV ratings for Wednesday, October 8th are in.  Here’s a brief rundown:

  • The third season premiere of The CW’s Arrow hit a 1.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and scored 2.79 million viewers, which is up slightly from last year’s season premiere rating of 0.9.  Read Dave’s recap here.
  • Over on ABC, The Middle was even with last week’s 2.0 rating and scored 7.35 million viewers, The Goldbergs dropped a tenth to a 2.2 rating and 6.97 million viewers, Modern Family was down three tenths to a 3.4 rating and 10.07 million viewers, black-ish ticked up two tenths to a 2.8 rating and 7.95 million viewers, and Nashville was down a tenth to a 1.6 rating and 5.48 million viewers.
  • CBS’ Criminal Minds was down four tenths with a 2.3 rating and 10.49 million viewers, while new series Stalker dropped three tenths to a 1.7 rating and 8.13 million viewers.
  • NBC’s The Mysteries of Laura fell two tenths to a 1.3 rating and 8.5 million viewers, Law & Order: SVU dipped a tenth to a 1.7 rating and 7.6 million viewers, and Chicago P.D. was even with last week’s 1.5 rating and scored 6.7 million viewers.
  • Finally, Fox’s Red Band Society fell again to a 0.9 rating and 2.89 million viewers, down from last week’s 1.1 rating.
