Monday’s TV ratings numbers are in.  Here’s a brief look at the highlights:

  • NBC’s new drama series Revolution hit a series low with a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.12 million viewers.  That’s a 7% drop from last week’s 2.8 rating.
  • Fox’s procedural series Bones was also down, hitting a 1.9 rating in the demo and 6.96 million viewers, down 5% from last week’s 2.0 rating.

Hit the jump for the full ratings report for Monday, November 12th, including Gossip Girl, Castle, Partners, 2 Broke Girls, and more.

NBC

  • revolution-ties-that-bindThough it’s one of the best-performing new series of the year, Revolution hit a series low this week with a 2.6 rating and 7.12 million viewers.  The episode dropped 7% from last week’s 2.8 rating.

CBS

  • How I Met Your Mother scored a 3.0 rating and 7.94 million viewers, up 7% from last week’s 2.8 rating.

No one likes that teenage twit on revolution. I can’t help but cringe when I hear it whining on screen about whatever she’s pissy about.

Revolution is a pile of garbage. It’s the same problem where they try to cater to everyone and please no one. Is this a family drama? is it a tween romance? is it a post apocalyptic sci fi show? they have no clue what show they’re making and that only works if you have great actors that can make it watchable but they have horrible actors that are cringe inducing to watch.

I can’t say I’m really surprised that Revolution’s ratings are dropping. I watched the first few episodes, but I’ve kind of lost interest because they don’t seem to be in much of a hurry to explain why the power went out. My coworker at DISH said the show is getting better and they’re getting into the power issue more and more. I guess I’ll give it another shot. I’ve got it recording to my DISH Hopper automatically thanks to PrimeTime Anytime. It catches all the shows in prime time from the four major networks automatically without me remembering a bunch of individual show timers. On Monday I was watching Bones which was such a moving episode. It was one of the best episodes of the series.
