Boondock Saints was really bad and I’ve never understood how it developed a following. It keeps coming up, even though it has been 10 years ago and neither of the leads ever went anywhere with their careers. I will say I do like Reedus (can’t believe he is 40) – I always thought he more was going to happen for him after Blade II.

So, why did the two of you (Fitz and cant_stop_yawning)– cant_stop_yawning, your fucking lame-ass handle says it all, man; “look at me! I’m so much better than anything I come across ’cause it bores the fuck out of me!”– why did the two of you come to this post if the 1st movie was so bad??? Just to show how smart and cool you are ’cause you supposedly don’t like the movie? Cynicism for it’s own sake hardly makes a revolutionary comment. Who says because a movie’s not revolutionary it’s not good? Also, just because two leads don’t “go anywhere” with their career’s has absolutely nothing to do with how good a movie is. Moot would be the perfect word to describe both of your comments.

…The above being said… I’m not really feeling the trailer and hoping it’s nowhere near indicative of the movie.

Boondock Saints is a cult classic period. I’m not sure how i feel about this one but Troy Duffy did a great job with the first one.

I personally liked the movie. I recognize that movie for what it is, a popcorn flick that tries to be edgy, but at the end of the day I like the movie. I would like to know your views Matt on why I am wrong for liking it (because opinions can be wrong apparently).

Also, Fitz, just curious but does my enjoyment of this movie make me a fraternity member douchebag? I mean I wear a polo shirt occasionally but i’ve never been associated with a frat. Also, I’ve never been used to clean a vagina but then maybe I haven’t been paying attention.

I like Boondock Saints. I am excited for the next one. Thats all I have to say.

The first movie was great, it’s the best movie for St. Patty’s day. RT is right though the trailer looks a little iffy, but hell I’m the optimistic type. And by the way I’m no Frat boy, you’d have better luck with sorority!

So people who like the first one are fraternity douchebags now? And what’s up with going after people who don’t like what you like? jeez if you like the film that’s cool. If you don’t kudos to you but for gods sake could you at least respect each others opinions? I’m not saying you have to agree with each other but but stop bitching at each other based on whether or not you liked the film.
