Reese Witherspoon Is a PHARM GIRL

headline-2.jpgVia THR, Reese Witherspoon is attached to star in Universal’s upcoming comedy, “Pharm Girl” written (and possibly directed by) “I Love You Phillip Morris” writers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

The project centers on a woman (Witherspoon) who gets a job at a pharmaceutical powerhouse but begins to see the underbelly of the industry as she rises through the company’s ranks.  So…she has to rise through the ranks in order to see the underbelly of a giant pharmaceutical company?  Is her character ridiculously stupid or just astoundingly oblivious?

I would quickly write this film off but I’ve heard such great things about “Phillip Morris”, that I’m willing to assume that Ficarra and Requa are going to do some dark satire with the film and that Witherspoon will bring back the bite she showed off so long ago in “Election”.
